Dear Tampa Bay Community,
At Health Without Walls Inc., we believe that everyone deserves access to basic healthcare—regardless of their circumstances. Yet, for many individuals experiencing homelessness, the barriers to medical care are overwhelming. Transportation challenges, lack of identification, unaffordable medications, and fear of mistreatment often prevent them from getting the care they need. These barriers can make a simple medical office visit seem unfathomable.
During my time working in a mobile medical program, I saw firsthand how these barriers leave people suffering with untreated wounds, infections, and chronic illnesses. More importantly, I saw the immense gratitude of those who finally received the care they had been denied for so long. These experiences inspired me to take action.
Health Without Walls was created to bring medical care directly to individuals living on the streets, meeting them where they are with compassion and dignity. Through basic medical treatment and access to essential supplies, we aim to remove obstacles and restore hope.
